The new 4 brothers for the American Sampler..

Hello again for today..

I made the 'Card Trick' block again. The first was too small...
the others are; 'Grandmother's Choice' , 'Broken Dishes' and 'Chinese Coine'..

At the moment I'm trying to small curves .. 'Rob Peter To Pay Paul' ..  *sweating*  ;D

I know not yet how I put the Top together...I am open to foreign ideas and suggestions.. :))

Again, your group of blocks is bold and bright and lovely. I like the fabrics you used.
Slow and steady with the curves. They can be scary, but they really are not that hard to make. Smile and relax, and don't be afraid. I prefer putting the larger piece on top and the piece that looks smaller underneath. Other people prefer the other way. Either way is OK.
Good luck!

Great job on the blocks! You're new and already doing curves - good for you! I find it helps to use plain alternate blocks when the pieced blocks are not all the same size. Sashing can do the same trick. I've never done it but a zig zag setting might work. Good luck and have fun with it!
