my unforgettable cats..

once I had two cats..

This is 'Schultheiss' my first cat. 

He was a handsome village boy with excellent proportions.

He was the chief of the area and was only 4 years - he was poisoned.. 

intentionally or unintentionally.. I do not know. 

unfortunately I had to find him and it broke my heart. 

It's many years ago , but I'm still saddened.

Shortly after we gotten a new addition to the family of a MainCoon tomcat.
He has 9 years accompanies us through our life and given us much joy.

The funniest story we've seen with him, he rushed through the chimney into open cold fireplace in the living room of the neighbors on a Sunday morning. After that he was black and greasy and definitely needed a proper bath. :D 

 In the last 2 years of his life he was suffering from a festering fungus infection in his paws / claws. Because of the many drugs that did not help, he  finally suffered a kidney failure and had to be freed by the veterinarian. That's already 4 years back but I still am not ready for a new cat. too much sorrow..

But the neighborhood cat visited me regularly and I always have food for him ..
And in the summer when we have a barbecue in the garden he is always there.. ;D
